Although it is often confused with the soul, the astral body serves as a bridge between your intelligent soul and your physical self. Made of a fine, ether-like substance, it mirrors your physical shape precisely and connects to your body at the navel via what many describe as a “silver cord.” It is this energy body that travels during astral projection, often while you sleep or meditate deeply.
Your astral body is intimately linked to your imagination, emotions, and desires. It transfers energetic and emotional information back to your physical self. When the physical body is unconscious—whether in sleep, trance, or through spiritual practices—the astral body can separate and roam freely.

7. Sense Your Astral Form
Envision a light, color, or shape forming around you. This is your astral body—your energetic twin.
8. Ask a Question
While in this meditative state, pose a question to your Higher Self. Listen and observe any sensations, thoughts, or visuals that follow.
When you’re finished, gently return to your physical awareness and journal what you experienced. Writing down your sensations, colors seen, or messages received is essential to track your psychic development.
