How to Run Energy

Exercise: Please take 15 to 30 minutes to complete this exercise. Running Energy may be done in a few minutes or during a longer meditation state. As you learn to Run Energy you may find the process does happen more quickly however and may take only a few minutes. You may feel a great sensation of energy or you may have no sensation at all. Both are fine.
1. Sit in a comfortable chair with your feet flat on the floor.
2. Ground yourself.
3. Bring your aura in closely around you, about 12 inches around.
4. Let your energy body travel to the depths of the earth and find pure Earth Energy that is just right for you.
5. Bring this Earth Energy up through your feet chakras, up your leg channels into the first chakra and out and down your Grounding Cord. With each breath, breathe in this Earth Energy fully.
6. Let your energy body travel up into the cosmos and find pure Cosmic Energy that is right for you.
7. Bring this Cosmic Energy to you through your 7th chakra. Let it travel down the back of the head in two channels. Then at your neck it splits into four channels, traveling down either side of the spine, down your back, then into your first chakra where it mixes with Earth Energy.
8. Let the two energies mix fully. When you are ready let part of this divine essence travel up through each chakra and out the top of your head. Allow an equal amount travel down your Grounding Cord.
9. At the 5th chakra (throat chakra) allow some of this divine essence travel down your arms, out your hand chakras and into your aura.

7 Steps to Resolve and Release Emotional Turmoil

Emotional Trauma Build Up?

Are you dealing with pain from past? Sometimes we have unresolved and painful emotions that we need to face head-on. Doing so, ultimately brings us peace of mind and harmony not only with this person, issue or event but it’s also essential to maintaining mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health and well-being. Hiding, burying, denying emotional pain compounds the matter and the unresolved emotion only resurfaces, albeit in time, much stronger. This toxicity can manifest as insomnia, hostility, and anger, or fear and anxiety.

Further, it’s essential to learn how to process these feelings of anger and fear lest you internalize these highly charged emotions and falsely begin believing the issue were your fault. Guilt is one these single most destruction and worthless emotions depleting not only our spiritual life force but impacting our physical and emotional selves through feelings of exhaustion, apathy, and ultimately depression.

The good news? You can learn to quickly identify these painful emotions and in moments dissipate them from your space.

Metabolize Trauma and Pain in 7 Steps

Pain is a very normal part of life. Suffering however, is not. So, knowing how to deal with and process pain is the doorway to stopping the toxic, turmoil filled emotions. When you learn how to process, deal and cope with pain, the suffering ceases to be. It’s that simple

  1. WHERE IS THE PAIN IN MY BODY?

In a comfortable, upright and seated position, with your bare feet on the ground, soften your gaze. Pay attention to your breath. Breathe in and out, drawing your attention inward. Be with the silence and be thoughtless.

Next, recollect an incident or situation in the recent past that brought you concern, upset or even anger. Perhaps some spoke harshly to you. Were you mistreated? A disagreement or injustice with a friend or family member or coworker? Bring this memory to the forefront and identify every aspect of it.

Take some time now to hone into the details about this emotion filled incident. In your minds’ eye, picture the event unraveling. What were the specific course of events? What were you wearing? Where were you? Who was near? What were they wearing? What do you hear? As if you were a newspaper reporter, recall as vividly as possible, all the details. As you are doing this you are an observer of this event, disengaged from it, and reporting from a neutral perspective. Resist going into the emotion of the event. You are not the event, the argument, or the emotion you see. Rather, you are purely a bystander or witness. You might imagine you are watching a movie in a movie theatre. In your meditative space you have a unique vantage point of calm, disengaged observation only. You cannot be pulled into the drama and intensity of the emotions.

Now then, begin to identify exactly what you are feeling. If you could describe the incident and what you are experiencing in one word, what would that be? Think for a moment and be as clear, succinct and precise as possible as you search for the word. Are you feeling disrespected? Victimized? Dishonored? Embarrassed? Disappointed? Give the emotion or feeling you hold a name that accurately describes this poignant and painful experience. Once you have found this word, focus absolute attention on that word. Say it out loud three times.

  1. BE AN OBSERVER OF THE PAIN AND THE RELATED EXPERIENCE

Next, bring your attention inward to your physical body, releasing all thoughts or concerns about the world around you for the time being. Make an agreement with your subconscious self that you’ll back to all that later. Notice any physical sensations inside or outside your body as you have identified the emotion.

The perspective you hold in your mind and the literal physical sensation in the body, coupled, are essentially ‘emotion.’ They come hand in hand, collectively. They are one. So, this is why we use the term feeling — because we feel emotions in our physical body.

Let your attention pass through your body as you’re recalling this experience. Locate the sensations the memory brings up. For many it’s a pressure in the chest or a sensation of tightness in the gut. Some feel it as pressure in their throat. Find where it is in your body that you’re feeling and holding the emotional experience.

  1. COMMUNICATE THE EMOTION

Did you know that when you verbally express, you release the feeling? We’ll do that now. Vocalize and express that feeling. Rub your hands together for a few moments and then place them on the part of your body where the feeling is emanating from. Say it out loud: “It hurts here. I feel pain here.” There might be more than one location. If so, put your hands on each part of your body in pain. With your hands resting at each location, take a moment to inhale and exhale and then restate what you’re feeling and say out loud, “It hurts here. I feel pain here.”

Understand that your body and every cell of your body knows when you feel pain. Do your best to make peace with, embrace or even befriend these sensations. Believe it or not there is wisdom, learning and forward momentum in the experience of pain. It is leading you to broader, richer and more whole you. This experience physical discomfort through pain is telling you something is unbalanced in your life experience — physically, mentally, or spiritually.

You might also consider expressing your feelings through writing or journaling to find even more release and resolve of this emotion.

  1. STATE OUT LOUD, “I AM TAKING OWNERSHIP.”

Understand that your pain equates to your feelings. In essence, pain equals emotional feelings. These emotions and feelings are taking place in your body as remember the pain, even though nothing is taking place in the material world. In your recalling, your body is however reacting with real physiological process like muscle contractions, hormonal secretions, and other literal physical sensation – again just b/c of memory recall! What’s more, even when the painful incident was occurring in the material world (not by recall as we are doing today) the effect was entirely within you. So, this lets you begin to understand that you have more control than you realize. You literally have a choice in how you interpret and respond to emotional turbulence. As you begin to make this recognition and awareness, you begin to take ownership and responsibility for your feelings.

What to do next: Let go of any guilt feelings about this. Rather, recognize your ability to respond to painful situations in a new way. By taking ownership for your feelings, you can also gain the power to make the pain melt away. You’re no longer blaming anyone else for having caused the pain, so you no longer must depend on anyone else to make it go away. Resonate in this new understanding for the next few moments.

MORE ON HEALING AND THE BODY: Maintaining Balance in Your Emotional Energy with EFT

  1. RESOLVE AND RELEASE THE EMOTION NOW

Go back to the part of your body where you’re holding pain. Gaze here, hold your energy and focus here for a few moments. Breathe in and breathe out. With every exhale, image breathing out the pain. Visualize the pain as a mist, give it a color and watch it dissipate up and away. Stay in this very powerful sacred space for several moments and you focus with clear and deliberate intention to feel the pain release and leave your body. You might notice a wave of emotion release, tears, vibration or tingling in your body. You might notice a spontaneous verbal releasing…a guttural sound or audible tone of some kind. This is the pain releasing through sounds of expression. Others may need to get up and move, bend over and let their head and body hang, stretch or even dance. This is perfectly fine and is more release through physical movement. If you took time to release by written expression, it’s perfectly reasonable, and even considered a powerful kind of emotional release ritual to burn the paper and offer the ashes to the earth, wind or water.

  1. CELEBRATE WITH YOUR PEEPS

We have our support group of family and friends for a reason. When you share the outcome of this power exercise of releasing your pain you are literally activating a new pattern of behavior on the heels of the old painful pattern being released.

You might even imagine speaking to the person who was involved in that original painful incident. What would you say to that person now? Do keep in mind that he/she was really not the true cause of your pain. The true cause was your response.

Now, having transformed and released, you are liberated and set free so you can share with others without blame, manipulation, or seeking approval.

  1. REST YOUR HEAD IN PEACE OF MIND

Most importantly, take some time to celebrate the painful experience was the very thing that helped you move to a higher state of being and transform into this new level of consciousness.

Rather than responding to the situation with a pain reflex which served to only perpetuate the problem, you’ve created an opportunity for spiritual transformation. That is indeed something to celebrate! Take some ‘me time’!

Remember that you can repeat this exercise whenever you feel upset to free yourself from emotional turmoil and the underlying pain.

Emotions are energy. Actually, emotional energy is energy in motion. While it is true that the hours you work and the amount of sleep you get contribute to your energy levels, energy is derived as much from your emotional well-being as it does from all that is happening around you.

Your emotional energy is an energy thermometer and can often signal a personal energy crisis. Your life may be full and satisfying but it may also be too full. You may find yourself overwhelmed and running on empty.

However, quitting or admitting you made a wrong decision is a better course of action. Another energy destroyer is a lack of boundaries—the inability to set parameters around how we want to be treated and how far we are willing to accept behaviors. You’ve heard the saying, “Get a life.” Personalizing your life increases your energy and fuels your well-being.

Pay attention to when the expectations of others interfere with your own wants and needs. Be aware of your breathing right now. Feel the gradual rise and fall of your chest. Can you feel the sensation of the breath? Feel the air moving in and out of your lungs and body. Listen to the sound of your inhale and exhale? Now, if you can, pay attention and be as present as possible with the space in between each breath. Continue to breathe.

Just one conscious breath – a breath taken with mindfulness – is enough to make some space when in the moments before there was the uninterrupted relentless mind chatter and thought, one after the other after the other. Breathing brings this to a standstill. A few breaths at various moments in your day will bring space into your life. It replaces thinking.

  2. Then, for a few minutes be aware of the low vibration emotion itself (or compulsive urge) as an energy field inside you. Consciously feel that emotion or the compulsive need to physically or mentally take part in the compulsive behavior. Be an observer of it, watch it. Seeing it as separate from you releases its power over you as you come to realize it is not you.
  3. Then take a few more conscious breaths. You may feel the emotion or compulsive urge has disappeared. You might feel the emotion is still there and you can’t help but feel it. This is okay. Don’t make it into a problem. Rather, make the emotion a part of your awareness and practice observing it as mentioned above. As awareness of the emotion grows and as you see it as not you or separate from you, in time it is weakened. Most people are so distracted by their thoughts they can no longer feel the aliveness that their breath brings. So then, the bridge delivering them to their innate well-being escapes them.
  4. Whenever you can, whenever it comes to mind in your day, center on your breath. It is more spiritually transformative than any book, course, coaching or learning of any kind. And, the expense is nil, save for a few priceless moments of time.

See the beauty of it from the ground up, along the green stem, onto the shape and texture of the leaves, to the actual shape and form of the rose petals. The vision of your rose, and the pure essence of energy it imparts, will invade your space, protecting you with a strong, unfettered connection to the universe. Your mind cannot tell the difference between reality and imagination. Because of that, the unencumbered vision of your rose actively acts as your energy protector. The universe will honor your effort and your intention to be protected. It doesn’t take long for you to establish a daily routine of envisioning your rose and employing the vision before you enter a session. Take the time and be safe. Psychic protection is as natural and necessary as eating, sleeping and drinking. It acts as a powerful force that wraps you with love and grace, helping you to be better prepared as you embark upon your day. Psychic Tool: How to Create a Protection Rose

As mentioned previously, your pure, positive essence is the only energy allowed in your space. In addition to your Prayer of Protection, a Protection Rose is another energy tool that assists you during your daily life, meditation or any kind of spiritual work to keep healthy energy boundaries in place. A Protection Rose acts like a filter or receptacle that absorbs energies near or around you that are not your own and don’t belong in your space.

A Protection Rose can also serve as a ‘hello’ of sorts. For example, during my day when the thought of my Protection Rose comes to me, it is a clue to be aware. In these moments, I ground myself, make a conscious choice to become present in the moment (and not distracted by my thinking mind) and become more in tune to the events and occurrences around me. A Psychic Development Exercise to Connect: Take a Moment to Meditate

To help you imagine a rose more clearly in your mind’s eye, while in a meditative space, first find a beautiful rose and study the details of it. See the green of the stem and the leaves, the texture of the petals. Smell it, feel it, and even taste it if you feel drawn to. Is there perhaps a little caterpillar or ladybug on it? Look at the rose and then close your eyes, and see it again in your mind’s eye.

The most important thing in creating you rose is its vibrancy—how alive it is and how detailed the image is. While it’s an image you are creating in your mind’s eye, it is a real and absolute symbol of true, raw energy, and this is powerful. Just because it’s an image in our mind doesn’t mean it isn’t real. Your logical left brain may not think so, but the Universe makes no distinction between thought and physical reality. The universe thinks there’s a rose there, right out in front of you, protecting you or doing whatever job you decided it will do. The Universe will honor the intention you set for that rose. The only thing stopping that is you and reality based notions that tangible can be the only reality or proof. As your intuitive ability grows you will begin to understand and trust this concept more and more.

Creating a Protection Rose can take a few seconds to several minutes. When I began using this tool, I spent time create it.  I desired to see the details of my Protection Rose clearly. I wanted to see the color, the detail of it grounded to the center of the earth. Your process may be similar or much quicker. Honor what feels right to you.

Five Steps to Create a Psychic Protection Rose

As you awaken in the morning, before stepping out of bed, close your eyes and visualize your Protection Rose. Ask it to be with you throughout your day. I too, create my Protection Rose at the start of the day, with the intention of knowing that it’s always there, though I don’t always consciously think about it during the day. Despite this, it is still present. Then during the day if it comes into my conscious mind, I know there’s a reason for that. I then ask myself, “Who’s near me?” and am mindful of the energy around me.

  • See a vibrant colorful rose out in front of you. Make it any color you desire.
  • Make it as tall and wide as you.
  • Place it just outside your aura.
  • Ground it to the center of the earth.
  • State your intention to the rose that it acts as a filter, keeping your pure, positive essence in your space, and others energy in their own space.

It’s that simple. The more energy work you do or the more you are around others you may find it necessary to release the Protection Rose down the Grounding Cord and create a new one.

Psychic Development: You Have an Astral Body

As you explore and develop your psychic ability you want to consider another part of your spirit you may or may not know exists. It’s your Astral or etheric body—the spiritual counterpart of your physical human body that exists on a different plane. It is the part of you that lives forever. It is not your soul, but an intermediate between your intelligent soul and your physical body composed of a subtle ether-like material our language struggles to define. It is an exact energy duplication of the physical form it surrounds. This energy body is attached to the physical body, usually at the naval, by a silver-like cord. It is accompanied by the mind and is capable of travel during periods in which the physical body sleeps. Such an act is referred to as astral projection.

The astral body is associated with imagination, emotions and desires, which it conveys information to the physical body. During sleep, death, or through drugs or any other loss of consciousness, the astral body separates from the physical body and, in its absence, no pain or sensation can be felt.  The astral body is not composed of matter alive with an intelligent life, but it possesses a kind of life sufficient to convey an understanding of its own existence and wants.

The astral body is also associated the afterlife because it is the vehicle that carries the soul from the physical body to higher realms. It is often said that the astral body is the channel through which humans experience dreams, visions, and out-of-body experiences that participates in astral projection.

Meditation, shamanic practices, lucid dreaming and certain drugs can stimulate an awareness of one’s astral body. Some say that it can be seen as an aura of constantly changing colors swirling around the physical body.

Clairvoyants and mediums are capable of seeing their own astral body and the astral body of others. The astral world is attainable to clairvoyants, therefore making an astral body visible to them.

In accordance with theosophical teaching, thought is not the abstraction it is commonly considered to be. It is built up of definite forms, the shape of which depends on the quality of the thought. It also causes vibrations, which are seen as colors.

Hence, clairvoyants may tell the state of a man’s development from the appearance of his astral body. Some suggest that a nebulous appearance indicates imperfect development, while an ovoid—a solid three-dimensional egg shape—speaks of a more perfect development. Because color is indicative of specific kinds of thought, the variety of color coming from an astral body indicates the character of the person to whom it belongs. Inferior thoughts produce loud colors, while higher thoughts will exhibit delicate colors. For example, rage may be red while kind thoughts are pale blue.

The Power of Your Breathing

Atem is the German word for breathing. It is derived from Sanskrit word “ayāma,” meaning to extend or draw out. The breath is formless. Meaning, it is not an object, has no shape, nor is it tangible. This is why being aware of how you breathe is one of the best ways to bring space into your life.

Breathing is often said to be one of the most subtle and seemingly insignificant phenomena. It was Nietzsche who remarked it is the ‘least thing’ that makes up the ‘best happiness.’

Being aware of how you breathe propels you into the present moment and it is the doorway to inner transformation. Why? Because when you are conscious of how you breathe, you become present and are led to higher consciousness.

It isn’t possible to think and be fully aware of and present with your breathing. Try it now. You will see that conscious breathing stops the mind but not to the extent that you are moved into a daze, but rather to a heightened alertness.

Giving attention to your breathing, even if only for a few seconds, creates gaps of space – pockets of peace of mind where incessant thinking ceases to be. In time, the gaps increase on their own and we discover inner space more consistently.

Be aware of your breathing right now. Can you feel the sensation of your breath? Feel the air moving in and out of your lungs and body. Notice how your chest rises and falls with each breath.

Just one conscious breath – a breath taken with mindfulness – is enough to make space, when in moments before, there was relentless mind chatter and thought, one after the other after the other. Breathing brings this to a standstill. A few conscious breaths at various moments in your day will bring space into your life. It replaces thinking.

Breathing occurs naturally and gracefully and should not feel like work. The deeper intelligence in the body is the driving force. All you have to do, as you become more aware of it, is to watch it happen. Notice the gentle pause as your out-breath moves to its end, just prior to taking a breath inward again.

Many of us unknowingly have very shallow breath. This is not our natural way of breathing. The more you are aware of your breathing, you begin to re-establish your breathing at a natural depth and full expansion.

Try this to find stillness:

  1. When you notice you are constantly thinking, feeling rushed, anger, tension, grief, or even a compulsive need (smoking, drinking, TV watching, overeating) of some kind, simply stop and take three breaths. This instantly generates presence and awareness. Can you feel the subtle sense of aliveness rush through your entire body as you do this?
  2. Then, for a few minutes, be aware of the low vibration emotion itself (or compulsive urge) as an energy field inside you. Consciously feel that emotion or the compulsive need to physically or mentally take part in the compulsive behavior. Be an observer of it, watch it. Seeing it as separate from you releases its power over you as you come to realize it is not you.
  3. Then take a few more conscious breaths. You may feel the emotion or compulsive urge disappear. You might feel the emotion is still there and you can’t help but feel it. This is okay. Don’t make it into a problem. Rather, make the emotion a part of your awareness and practice observing it as mentioned above.  As awareness of the emotion grows and as you see it as not you, but separate from you, in time it will weaken and disappear.

Most people are so distracted by their thoughts they can no longer feel the aliveness that their breathing brings. So then, the bridge delivering them to their innate wellbeing escapes them. Whenever you can, whenever it comes to mind in your day, center on your breathing. It is more spiritually transformative than any book, course, coaching or learning of any kind. And, the expense is nil, save for a few priceless moments of time.

As you begin your meditation:

  • Set the intention of the desire to connect with your physical body self.
  • State this specific intention out loud to the Universe. The Universe has heard you.
  • Release this intention free to the Universe to bring to you.
  • Listen and be aware for the signs, symbols and messages that come. They may come in your dreams, meditation, or when you least expect it.

Psychic Development Includes Your Body!

In your psychic development, your mind isn’t the only recipient of emotional signals; your body is used as a vehicle for receiving emotional messages too. The modern world keeps you focused on left-brain activities and skills. So it may take some time to become reacquainted with your emotional side. You will need to make a special effort to watch for signals emanating from your body and those generated through your thoughts. Welcome each signal by allowing it to form and then flourish.

Body Balance and the Elements of the Earth

As you know, spiritual growth embodies body, mind, and spiritual wholeness and balance. Using your body we will embrace and bring forward this wholeness. Learning to love your body is essential as you develop your intuitive self.  As a former professional cyclist, reaching a high level of physical well-being and strength included consistent training, smart rest and recovery, and balanced nutrition. That said, there was never ever anything in my training regimen more profound and necessary than the spiritual practices of connecting with the earth element as well as deep meditations and visualizations I’m sharing today. I use these tools in my daily life and I hope you too might find some ways to incorporate them into your life journey as you pursue body wellness.

It is a popular belief that everything is connected. Our bodies are a dynamic, miracle-like vessel intertwined with the elements of the earth. This deep connection is not any different than any natural human expression within the perfect completion of nature. Today, pick one of the exercises below and take whatever amount of time feels right to you in connecting with the earth elements. Do all of them if you feel so inspired! Ask yourself, “What does body balance mean to me?” Having done the exercise/s, in what ways do you find you are most connected with your body and/or the elements of the earth?

Elements of the Earth, Dating Back

It was the ancient Greeks, around the time of 450 BC, who believed there were four elements and that everything  of this world was made up of: earth, water, air, and fire. This theory was later supported by Aristotle who interestingly believed there was even a fifth element, aether. He suggested this new element as it seemed strange to him that the stars would be made out of earthly elements. Today, Aristotle would be ever surprised to realize that stars are in fact made up of many elements found on earth.

The idea that these four elements of the earth made up all matter was a foundation of philosophy, science, and medicine for thousands of years. It was believed that all visible things on are planet are made up of some combination of earth, water, air, and fire. In fact, the four elements do align with the four states of matter that modern science has agreed are: solid (earth), liquid (water), gas (air), and plasma (fire).

Connecting with the Earth

  • Dance with your bare feet to your favorite song.
  • Play in the dirt, or sand and make mud pies or build sand castles.
  • Grow an herb garden or flower garden.
  • Bring nature inside your home: find some favorite rocks, sea shells or wood and place it near your place of rest.
  • Meditate or have lunch sitting up against a tree.
  • Take that hike you’ve been putting off.
  • Go on a walk or a jog this evening.

Connecting to Water

  • Go for a swim. Relax, laying face up, just above the surface of the water and float. Breathe and become one with the water.
  • Gather water from the sea, river or pond with your palms.
  • Take a walk in the rain.
  • Drink water, use essential oils or milk and honey to purify, cleanse and nurture yourself and your body.
  • Put your feet in a creek or river.
  • Take a nurturing bath.
  • In your shower today, let the healing and rejuvenating energy of the water embrace you.

Connecting with Fire

  • Have a BBQ with friends and family.
  • Watch a sunset and wallow in the true brilliance of the sun.
  • Light a candle during your meditation today.
  • Fire is spark and aliveness for our soul. Do something spontaneous; search within for your true purpose and unleash it; set a new goal or complete a task you’ve been meaning to finish.
  • Draw colorful flames, and as you draw be present with the life source that the element of fire gives.
  • Competitive sport inspires and stimulates the spark of the element of fire in our lives. Join the sport or activity you have an affinity for.
  • Find something that you’re a little afraid of doing and do it anyway. As the late Susan Jeffers said, “Feel the fear and do it anyway.”

Connecting with Wind/Air

  • Take a stroll on your bike through the park or down a nearby trail…feel the wind!
  • Plan that sailing trip.
  • Open the windows in your home or office to create air flow and clear the air.
  • Air and wind is not always in motion. It can be still. In this way, it becomes an invisible provider of life to our lungs. Give attention to your breath today. Inhale and exhale slowly five times. Notice how just one conscious breath centers your soul. Even blowing out something or blowing something clean can bring this still air alive.
  • Burn some incense or smudge your home with sage.
  • Is there a motorcycle ride you’ve been putting off?
  • Do anything that connects you will the gale wind forces!

We all know the importance of drinking plenty of water, get good sleep, and exercise daily. Make these things a priority – they are must-dos. The care and attention you give to maintaining a healthy mind-body balance will serve to enhance your psychic awareness. As you take care of your body you will begin to notice a difference in your mental acuity. It is very difficult for a higher power to be housed in an unhealthy vessel. Take care of your body because it really is the temple of your soul. There is a solid relationship between a healthy body and the link with your higher power.

Psychic Development Body Centering Guided Meditation: Physical Body Grounding with Mother Earth

Find an outdoor location that at feels comfortable to you. If sounds of nature are around you, all the better! Try to pick a place where any other daily noise is not present. Take your shoes of and connect your bare feet with the earth. Notice any sensations or vibrations as you do this. This exercise is an essential part of you daily routine as you connect to your body and become in tune with your higher self.

Give attention to your breath. Breathe in deeply in through your nose, hold for a moment, and then release your breath slowly through your mouth. Your long, slow steady breathing is of importance. Repeat this several times. On each breathe feel yourself relaxing deeper and deeper into your physical body.

There are two tiny chakras located in the center of your feet. See them beginning to expand and open fully to the energy of the earth. Feel the chakras connect to the earth beneath them, as if they are one. Are there any sensations presenting?

Take a moment now, and put your third eye to work. You’ve learned about your Reading Screen. So, set it out now if you like and ground it to the center of the earth. On your Reading Screen, imagine a magnificent, deeply rooted, ancient tree. Make the tree many feet wide and as high up in the sky as you can see. Visualize it towering with grace and beauty high above.

Now, become one with this magnificent and pure embodiment of Mother Earth. See yourself unite with it as one. You might imagine your arms and legs as the branches extending out with power, grace. What part of the tree have your fingers and toes become? You might make them be the leaves or the roots of the tree. Let your body become the tree trunk of this dynamically graceful and powerful tree. Feel the strength of this move down through your legs, into your feet and through your feet into the floor or ground beneath and deep into the earth below.

Say, “I am one with this magnificent tree of Mother Earth.” Feel the deep oneness between your feet and the ground beneath and let it extend deep into the earth below. Notice how strong you feel. Feel the Mother Earth energy flowing through your body and then traveling out to and through your fingers, toes and Crown Chakra.

For the next several minutes, allow this deep, earthly energy to flow. Notice and smells, sounds or images you experience.

Be present with the stillness now. Allow your awareness to focus on the solidness of the joining between your physical body and Mother Earth. There is deep seated living Mother Earth energy flowing through you now as you join with Her through your physical body. Continue to allow the all-encompassing power travel up and out of your body through the Crown Chakra. Notice now the energetic connection between heaven and earth. Realize that you are the creator of this…you are the conduit of life force…the connecting point between them. Can you feel this connection extend to the core of the earth? Can you feel this immenseness move above you to the core of cosmos? Imagine this connection now as a divine golden divine line of light extending from eternity to eternity with you at the center point.

Be fully present with this experience of deep Mother Earth connection and body grounding for the next several minutes. When you feel ready write a few thoughts about how you feel energetically and emotionally right after doing this exercise.
