Raise Your Frequency and Find Your Passion

What You Think and How You Vibe, Matters

Everything in the universe has its own vibration. For instance, the Earth’s magnetic frequency resonates at 7.83 hertz. Earth’s frequency of 7.83 hertz has benefits on people, promoting rejuvenation, grounding, balance, enhanced memory, and more. People themselves have their own frequency as well. A person whose frequency is vibrating low likely has more negative characteristics such as low self-esteem, jealousy, fear, and anxiety. A person who is vibrating high will likely exhibit confidence, a sense of empathy, courage, and resilience. One’s frequency can waver throughout the day as energy is continually changing. However, it is essential to know how to raise and maintain a high frequency to allow manifestations to happen.

One of the reasons some people experience difficulties when it comes to manifesting their dreams is because they are not maintaining a high vibration for a long enough duration. Thus, elements of fear and uncertainty sweep in, conflicting with that person’s genuine desire to attain their goals. Luckily, there are several ways to raise one’s frequency and maintain it.

Get Out in Nature

Most people spend several hours, if not all day, communicating with other people. Take a break from work and city life. A nature walk or hike will be very beneficial for those aspiring to raise their frequency. Be sure to connect with animals and children as they help us to be fully present and in the moment! Feeling rushed to complete assignments, meet deadlines, and take care of responsibilities can create stress. This stress is, many times, linked to one’s anxiety. These debilitating emotions lower one’s frequency, making it harder for them to think clearly. Being out in nature allows people to experience more quiet alone time. This time also allows for introspection and reflection.

Remove Toxic Relationships

A toxic relationship will significantly hinder a person’s frequency. Many times people take on the energy that is in their environment. This energy can come from people who might have toxic habits such as gossiping, complaining, over-indulging, etc. Aside from peer pressure, there is also an energetic exchange involved when surrounding one’s self with people who are also vibrating lower. To raise frequency, self-love should always be maintained, which means that a person does not subject themselves to lesser treatment from anyone.

Eat Lighter

Some people attest to feeling heavy and tired after they eat a heavy meal or certain fatty foods. These foods also translate into a person’s spiritual and mental well-being. It’s essential to consume foods that are nourishing to one’s body, mind, and soul. Preferably, foods that come from the Earth.

Get Passionate About Something!

For many people, having a great job, a loving family and supportive friends are the embodiment of a great life. For other people, that’s just not enough because they feel there’s a piece missing. Many hobbyists have passions that go beyond their daily lives but which are reserved for only them. It’s their “me” time. In today’s day and age, there are countless ways to reach out to other like-minded individuals who share the same passions, giving people a sense of inclusion and community that humans hold so dear. The problem for many people is that they don’t know how to seek out a passion. Many experts agree that the trouble lies in searching with your brain instead of your heart.

Being passionate about something is a feeling. It isn’t necessarily logical. It’s something that brings enjoyment and pleasure. To try to calculate a hobby logically is an almost pointless exercise, just like asking friends their opinion on what they think you would be interested in. Only you know in your heart what you are truly passionate about.

If you don’t know where to begin, you can start by asking yourself a series of questions to try to narrow down the options. Ask yourself if there has been a consistent theme throughout your life, something you have always found yourself gravitating towards. Ask yourself what your ultimate fantasy would be, assuming money was not an option. Ask your friends how they would describe you since their answers might offer clues about your personality and perhaps provide a new perspective that you aren’t seeing. On the flip side, ask yourself what people tend to seek your advice about. Are you the go-to computer expert or sewing master?

Some people find their passion through a strong desire to help others or make a difference. Is there anything you see that makes you so enraged or upset that you feel an irresistible urge to do something to fix it? Some people are not satisfied with donating money or attending rallies, they feel a strong need to dive in and personally do their part to make the world a better place.

Think about any skills that come naturally to you, such as drawing or baking. These might be great jumping-off points for hobbies or even a side hustle. Not all hobbies need to be non-profitable, although that shouldn’t be the motivation. In an ideal world, everybody would get paid for doing the job they are most passionate about.

Prayer for the Day

Michelle’s Prayer for the Day:

Today is about having fun and going with the flow. So my prayer is to release resistance… It’s a day to be easy, have fun and hold no expectations of anyone. It’s a day of frolic and play. Through my guides or my own inner knowing I intertwine playfulness and ease. I trust that the Universe has my best interests in mind and I’m choosing to not take so many things seriously. Spirit tells me, “It isn’t supposed to be so hard.” So today, I take this to heart and flow in this day of play.

An Afternoon with Eckhart Tolle

Recently, I had the experience of a lifetime. My friend and I met with several others this past Monday in a charming little theater in Mill Valley, California. It was a cozy setting with great personality. There were all sorts of interesting artistic odds and ends abound, some spiraling upward into the balcony – all of which created the perfect ambiance for an afternoon with Eckhart Tolle.

It was no surprise that Eckhart wanted to be welcomed onto the stage in silence. As a contemporary spiritualist who teaches presence and ego-less being, this made perfect sense.

I was so very excited but in the same breath, expectation-free. We found ourselves nicely surprised with the unique sense of humor Eckhart carried throughout the day. He even spoke of his human ways. I imagine, as an acclaimed spiritualist and best seller, he is made to be iconic with no imperfections. Yet Eckhart too was born naked and he appeared to be no stranger to this reality. In fun and humor, he shared with the audience his penchant for coffee, occasional wine, and at times a messy home – not what one would expect of a man who has been likened to a Zen master.

Eckhart spoke to the audience from a small, quaint stage. Very simplistic and all black. A short, square table sat to his right. It was big enough though to hold a flower and vase, water to sip on and mediation bells which we had the pleasure to hear the wonderful chime of at the closing of the day. In a unique juxtaposition, Eckhart was surrounded by three giant television cameras (each strategically placed) a plethora of electrical cords traveling every which way, a crew staff and several incredibly large and brilliant lights. It was quite dynamic I thought. Yet all the while Eckhart continued to exude an innate level of stillness, calm and presence. Then again, he did author Power of Now so in hindsight there really was little room for surprise.

As Eckhart opened with the day’s agenda he said, “I may sit up here first and talk to you for three minutes, thirty minutes or three days. I just don’t know yet.” The audience roared in laughter. Clearly, he had little to nothing prepared (at least not in the strictest sense) and was going to speak his teachings impromptu and for however long it felt natural. I recall thinking that was the perfect place to be – just being, teaching and guiding with nothing in tow save for intrinsic spiritual wisdom void of any preconceived expectations, notions or plans. It embodied raw truth.

And he wasn’t done yet. At one point, Eckhart spoke about Star Trek and his sense of the deeper relevance of this wonderfully popular series to human kind. A fellow Treky in the audience took the opportunity to offer the Vulcan salute to Eckhart on stage. Seeing this, Eckhart quickly attempted to return the Vulcan salute. Normally, this salute is done with a raised hand, palm forward with the fingers parted between the middle and ring finger, and the thumb extended. Often, the famous phrase “live long and prosper” is said after it. Unfortunately, Eckhart had some difficulty in forming this sign with his hands and instead accidentally provided the kind man with the middle finger! The audience laughed hysterically.

Eckhart talked of the ripple and the ocean analogy. He expressed his belief that our lives are like the ocean…the ripples on top of the ocean he likened to our thoughts and daily life but the depth of the sea was where our deeper, all-encompassing spirit-self resides. Eckhart expressed that there is only one thing that matters: the ocean, and knowing who you are beyond the mere conceptual level of the ripples.

“The source of enjoying is in the being,” commented Eckhart at one juncture. I liked this statement a lot as it was a good reminder to me to stay present and enjoy and trust in the process of life. It’s not so much about the tangible things in life or the achievement of the goals we set (though those do have relevance). Rather, it’s about the process of getting there that counts most and finding joy in that process.

I found this quote by Eckhart very moving: “What you have not chosen may be exactly what you needed to find your way.” So often, when the hardships or the seeming contrasts in life present we view them as adverse and we long for their quick departure. I loved hearing these words from Eckhart because it tells us to ponder the idea that we do indeed find clarity in the contrast even if we have not chosen that contrast.

Throughout the afternoon, audience members came forward with their unique personal life questions seeking guidance from Eckhart. They each spoke into a microphone waiting for them on top of a raised platform carved out in the center of the audience. There was a question from a mother who was raising two children. She wanted to know how to find balance in the chaos-feeling times of parenthood. Another audience member asked how to stay present when planning for the future. Someone else queried Eckhart on anxiety…she explained she had a good life but was admittedly defensive and had low self-esteem and suffered great anxiety. With care, Eckhart responded insightfully to each. One man stood up to share the deep sorrow he felt having lost his pet of 15 years. He struggled even a year later to release the grief. Eckhart spoke at length consoling the man and at one point explained that with animals “there is less in the way” and so we often find it easier to love them. We “love the inherent goodness in animals” and while we also love this in our human relationships, our ego minds get in the way.

It was such an enriching day of awareness. While I did not have the opportunity to present my own question, I related so closely to all of those that were asked. Many of the issues were those that I, my friends or family members had experienced. A unique reminder to me of how much alike we all really are.

If you have not read Eckhart’s books, Power of Now or A New Earth, you might consider it. They are truly remarkable reads that I found life-altering.

Psychic Development Training: How to Create Your Powerful Sacred Psychic Space

What Is a Sacred Psychic Space?

In any kind of spiritual Psychic Development Training or healing work and especially in your psychic development you’ll want a space that is sacred, all yours. It is void of the on goings of the busy outside world. It is a sanctuary you can go to quiet your mind, to rejuvenate your energy and spiritual life force. A place where you can connect with your Higher Self, the Heavens and your soul self.

Psychic Development and the Importance of a Sacred Psychic Space

It’s good practice to create space for ourselves both mentally and physically. A break from the noise, business and chatter from the world in order to maintain our balance is a must-do. Your spirit growth flourishes when it is honored with a place you can visit to quiet your mind, renew your energy, and commune with the heavens and your soul.

Today, during the hustle and bustle of your life, consider creating a sacred space in your home. This space is dedicated to your spiritual time and work.

How to Create a Sacred Space

Spend some time thinking about what makes a space sacred to you. Is it time alone? A special location? Or a place with meaning and history? To create a space that is special and sacred only to you, think about what you want to do or have to consider a space sacred. Once you are ready, begin with these essential tips:

  • A sacred space can be built out of anything or established in any space. You can add a screen to an unused corner or clear out a closet.  Chose a place where you know you won’t be disturbed or bothered. So long as the room or nook is a place where you can reflect, be quiet, think, go inside yourself and get centered, it will work.
  • A sacred space can also be a simple as a decorated windowsill or dresser top with things of meaning only to you. It is also possible to create a portable space by filling a box with objects meaningful to you that you can take somewhere and be alone.
  • To make a space really work for you, it will be necessary to pay special attention to the sounds, smells, and colors you should add to your space. Choose colors that bring your energy into balance, fragrances that soothe your senses, and sounds that bring you into harmony with your spirit.
  • The choice of lighting will also be important. Lighting sets the tone for a room. Bright lighting can be welcoming or energizing, awakening your mind to possibilities ahead and low lighting can trigger relaxation and calming at days end.
  • Don’t forget to include adding spots of nature in your space. Whatever your style, plant life and natural elements form a connection that will enhance the affect of your sacred space. The more hectic your life, the more you need an infusion of nature.
  • The shape of your sacred space is also important. It may seem simplistic, but use circular furniture if you want movement or vibrancy in your space; use square furniture if you want to relax or be still. Creating your own sacred space can be energizing and fulfilling—a safe place in which to escape and re-energize. Let me know where you find your space and how your decoration have served to heal your soul.

Decorating Your Sacred Psychic Space

Decorate your sacred space just so, if you care to. If you’re fortunate enough to have a whole room, that’s great, but if not, is there a corner or certain area within a room that you can dedicate to being your sacred space? It is uniquely yours and only you are permitted here.

Blue, purple and clear gems or crystals are known to clarify thoughts and deepen the meditative state. Purple gemstones in particular are powerful energy tools for those seeking spiritual balance and harmony. By surrounding yourself with purple, you will more readily bring in ease and peace of mind. Purple crystals are known to be useful in meditation as they assist you in bringing you deeper into a focused state. Purple crystals also support you in opening your third eye and crown chakra, supporting your enlightenment and accessing your truest purpose.

Himalyan salt lamps not only bring in a wonderful soft glow light source but they also act as an air purifier for your sacred space. These powerful salt lamps give a warm amber glow. You can change the color of the bulb to give a different hue to the lighting area, providing a nice natural touch your sacred space. When the lamp is on it emits negative ions that fight against positively charged particles that cause you to feel stuffy and sluggish. The lit salt crystal clears the air naturally of allergens like smoke, pet dander, pollens, and other air pollutants. Check out these Himalayan salt lamps in my metaphysical store.

Psychic Development Training

In meditation, our posture embodies dignity, so we meet the moments of meditation sitting upright, with dignity, honoring that space. Your sacred psychic space works similarly. Though there may be areas of clutter in other areas of your home, your sacred space should be honored with cleanliness. The clutter-free space is part of what lends to the dynamic energy in it. Since you will retreat here often, why not? What’s more, over time, you’ll find that you can move right into clarity, ease, peace and equanimity swiftly because the energy of the room has been primed from hours of meditation or spiritual work. The energy of this sacred space has a memory that stays within the room.

Remember, this is a place to go when not only when you are feeling tense, disconnected, or a bit of balance. It is also a place to go when you are feeling at peace yet desire to maintain that in your daily life. Think of this space as a choice and a step toward honoring you and your soul self. It is a gift to you.

Sacred Psychic Space & The Earth Elements Matter

You will learn in psychic development training that according to the Buddha, the element of fire is “that by which one is warmed, ages, and is consumed, and that by which what is eaten … gets completely digested.” Meaning, the element of fire within us is metabolism. It’s our power, strength and energy. My own sacred space includes the element of fire as well as water, earth and wind. Candles are a great way to bring in the element of fire. Be sure to consider the earth elements of water, air, and earth as well!

Consider adding wood as a grounding tool to this space. The element of wood in known to nourish growth and creativity. Wood is the most effective of the earth elements to bring personal growth, intuition and creativity! Does and image of statue of Buddha resonate with you? Consider a Buddha wood sculpture.
